ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON RAIN WATER HARVESTING AND WATER MANAGEMENT
A one day workshop on “Rainwater Harvesting and Water Management” was conducted on 2-11-2019 was conducted with the Gracious presence of Honorable Minister Thiru S.P. Velumani,Municipal Administration, Rural Development and Implementation of Special Programmes. Inaugural Address given by Thiru J. Shravan Kumar I.A.S., Commissioner and Special Officer, Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation, Coimbatore. Dr. P.Pon Muthuramalingam, Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Coimbatore Presided the inaugural function and Prof. P.Juswanth Mohana Sen, Principal i/c welcomed the gathering.
FREE SIDDHA MEDICAL CAMP
A free siddha medical camp was conducted on 19-12-2019 by Kasthuriba Gandhi Memorial Siddha Hospital and Research Center. The Camp was open to public to provide awareness on natural remedies for various health issues.
5th kiddies Teakwondo championship for boys and girls
5th kiddies taekwondo championship for boys and girls in association with sports taekwondo Association Coimbatore was held in C.B.M College campus on 22-2-2020. The event was organised by the Physical Director, C.B.M College and sponsored by Nallaramm Trust, Coimbatore and C.B.M Alumni Association Trust, Coimbatore. Around 500 children participants from 25 schools in and around Coimbatore participated. Poomsae and Kyorugi were conducted age-wise and overall trophies were given category wise.
One day camp on " Diabetic and Diabetic Retinopathy eye screening
President Nallaram Arakkattalai Thiru S.P. Anbarasan inaugurated the Camp and presided by the Principal Prof. Juswanth Mohana Sen in a successful manner. This camp was jointly organized by RRC/NSS/ YRC units of C.B.M College, Kovaipudur, Arivind Eye Hospital and Attitude Charitable Trust, Coimbatore.
Around 500 patients in and around Kovaipudur locality were benefited and taken to further treatment .
PONGAL CELEBERATIONS 2020
Every year Pongal celebrations are organised by the students department wise in a grand manner. Students start with almighty prayers in the temple located inside college premises and each departments prepare their own Pongal and share with their peers. The day is usually filled with playing traditional music in Thaarai Thappatai and dance by students.
